Production blog

The first day of filming finally arrived, and we were all buzzing with energy. We met early in the morning to set up the location, making sure everything was in place before the actors arrived. The first few hours were spent fine-tuning the equipment and doing test shots, checking angles, and making sure the lighting was perfect. Nathaniel was the first to step into character, getting into the right headspace for his racing scenes. The actors quickly got into the groove, and it was clear they were ready to give their best performances. We started with some of the simpler scenes, filming a few character interactions before diving into the more intense racing sequences. The first race was filmed in the industrial park, using drones for aerial shots and cameras for close-ups. The energy on set was incredible, and seeing the actors perform the high-speed stunts was thrilling. It took a few tries to get the timing right for some of the more intense driving shots, but the crew was on point. David made sure every frame looked perfect, adjusting the lighting as needed. During the breaks, we reviewed the footage and decided on adjustments for the next scene. The cast was having a blast, and their performances were full of energy and passion. As the day progressed, it felt like we were really building something special. We also filmed some schoolyard scenes to balance the action with quieter moments. By the end of the day, we had captured some amazing footage, and everyone was excited for the days ahead. We wrapped up the shoot feeling accomplished and excited to see where the film would go next.
